"Keeping it in the Family" - Legacy Visit Program

Sunday, November 1 - Monday, November 2, 2009

(registration deadline is Wednesday, October 28)

This is a special visit program designed for high school juniors and seniors who have legacy status at OWU (have a relative who attends/has attended OWU). Opportunities include touring campus, attending a class or two in your area(s) of interest, and spending the night on campus with a current OWU student host (among other things). In addition, OWU President, Dr. Rock Jones and his wife, Melissa, will host a special Legacy event while you're here. We hope you'll be able to make it!

TIME	EVENT (TENTATIVE)
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1	OPTIONAL OVERNIGHT
1:30 - 2:30 p.m. (students and parents)	Registration. Meet your overnight host for the evening. Hamilton-Williams Campus Center (HWCC) Atrium.
2:30 p.m. (students and parents)	Campus Tour
4:00 p.m. (students and parents)	Student Panel Discussion
5:00 - 6:30 p.m. (students and parents)	Legacy Dinner. Dr. Rock Jones and his wife, Melissa, will host a special legacy dinner at their home. Pritchard House.
7:30 p.m. (students)	Social Time.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2	MAIN PROGRAM
8 - 8:50 a.m. (students and parents)	Registration (for those students/parents who are participating in the day program only). Light continental breakfast will be served (for all participants). (HWCC) Atrium/Mowry Alumni Center
9 a.m. (students and parents)	Welcome Session. Featuring President Rock Jones. Bayley Room, Beeghly Library
10 a.m. - 12:00 noon (students)	Class Visitations and/or Campus Tour
10 a.m. - 12:00 noon (parents)	Parent Sessions (Panel presentation, Financial Aid Overview, etc.)
Noon - 1 p.m. (students and parents)	Lunch on campus.
1 - 2 p.m. (students and parents)	Student Life Panel or Campus Tour or Other Appointments (as requested)
